Welcome to the Website of Aldermoor Farm Primary School. We hope you will enjoy finding out more about our school and looking at some of the things we do.
At Aldermoor Farm, we strive for excellence in teaching and for pupils to have enjoyment in their learning. It is our expectation that all children work hard and become successful learners.
We offer children a curriculum that is creative, exciting and one that places a high value on learning beyond the classroom. We believe every child is an individual with talents and special qualities to develop and celebrate. We hope that both your family and your child will enjoy the opportunities that we offer and make the most of them!
Children and families at Aldermoor Farm come from different parts of the world and bring many languages, cultures and faiths to school. We warmly welcome and celebrate this rich diversity which makes our school and its community a very special place.
As parents you have an extremely important part to play in your child’s education. We welcome you into school and we very much want to work together to help your child to be the BEST!
We are proud to serve the local community and work closely with families to help our children develop both academically and socially within a happy and supportive learning environment. We believe in 'going the extra mile' for every child and we promise to maintain high aspirations for all children regardless of ability.
We invite you to come and take a look at what ‘the extra mile’ looks like in action at Aldermoor Farm Primary School. If you would like to visit our school, we would be delighted to meet you and look forward to hearing from you!
Friday 4th September 2020
Good afternoon to you all,
I hope that you have all had a successful week.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to you all for your patience and understanding as we have returned to school. These are new methods and processes to all of us and after a few teething problems all seems to be working well now, so again, thank you.
It has been wonderful to welcome the children back after such a long time, we have missed them. They have settled so well and adjusted to the new way of working in school. Some were a little apprehensive at first, but their resilience and growth mindset has been incredible. They have helped each other so well, especially being kind to those new to our school, in true Aldermoor Farm style.
Can I please remind you to check the start and finish times of your child/ren, which are available on the school website, to help keep the number of bodies on the school site to a minimum. You may bring all of your children at the start time of one of them, an adult will be on hand to receive them. Also, at the end of the day you may collect them together at whichever child has the latest finish time. I hope this will alleviate too much waiting around for you.
Have a wonderful weekend and we all look forward to seeing you on Monday.
